Story: The Mediation Center

"We failed our kids when our marriage failed but mediation kept us from failing them in our divorce".  This was the sentiment of divorcing parents who used The Mediation Center's services.  With the help of a mediator they were able to come together not as adversaries, but as partners in parenting, make decisions about how they would parent their children from two separate households and create a detailed Parenting Plan that they both could agree on.  Today, whenever an issue or conflict arises they use the conflict management skills they learned during their mediation sessions and refer to their mediated Parenting Plan to stay focused on the needs and best interests of the kids.
