Story: Lincoln Parks Foundation

A first and second grade brother and sister have been able to attend Air Park's After School Program(ASP) with the help of scholarship funds offered by Lincoln Cares and the Lincoln Parks Foundation.

The children's parents have had several financial hardships, including job losses.  Since their children have a place to go after school, the parents have been able to stay in their new jobs.  The siblings needed more than after school care, they needed a place to be loved and nurtured, and to be kids and do kid stuff!  ASP offered those benefits and more, such as tutoring.  Air Park's ASP provides the siblings with a welcoming and safe environment supported by nurturing staff and fellow student participants.
