How we use your contributions:

• $1 per week or $52-Financial Assistance for one Girl's national membership dues, uniform components and one council event.
• $2 per week or $104-Financial Assistance for 3 Girl Scouts to attend a Council Event.
• $3 per week or $156-Financial Assistance for one Girl Scout to go to resident camp.
• $5 per week or $260-Delivers the Girl Scout program to one Girl Scout for a full year.
• $10 per wek or $520-Financial Assistance for one Girl Scout to go on a destination trip.
• $20 per week or $1000-Replace camp equipment such as beds or tents.

A Story from our agency:

  Maddie is a twin and needed that extra little alone time without her protective brother. She joined a troop but really didn't want to go to the meetings. She was scared and did not look forward to the starting of the troop. Her mom would come with for the first few meetings to make sure she was OK. After the first few meetings, she had a positive attitude about Girl Scouts. She began looking forward to each and every exciting adventure that they went on. She even stood up in front of a group of new friends at Princess and the Frog day spa and sang a song by herself! She did so awesome! Each and every girl enjoyed her song she shared with them. This is just one example of how Girl Scouts can give girl courage, confidence and build their character which in turn will make the world a better place.
