A STORY FROM OUR AGENCY:
One of the ways we support LPS students and families is by providing funding when they are facing financial difficulties. Here is one story that came in requesting student emergency funding. "A single mother has five children, three of which have significant health issues, causing financial constraints. The family needs their electricity turned back on for the kids to continue doing their school work." The Foundation was able to provide assistance to have their electricity turned back on so that their children could continue to focus on learning.
