If you already have the opportunity to support Community Services Fund agencies at your worksite, please consider a donation.

You may make a general contribution to be shared equally among the member agencies or designate your gift to one or more specific agencies. Either way, your donation will support organizations that address critical issues and critical needs in Lincoln and Nebraska.

If you are not sure whether your employer has a Community Services Fund workplace giving option, check our list of participating businesses.

If your worksite does not offer Community Services Fund, you can make a direct contribution by sending a check to Community Services Fund of Nebraska and indicating where you would like your dollars to be allocated.

Checks should be made out to Community Services Fund.

Why Expand Your Giving Campaign?

  • Cost-effective way to increase your giving back to the community.

  • Create a flexible, open atmosphere during your charity drive.

  • Increase employee participation in the giving campaign.

  • Enhance community and employee relations.

  • Increase employee morale.

It's simple. It doesn't take additional time or complex systems to expand a charitable giving campaign. We can come to your office and present the main points in less than 15 minutes. Call our office to schedule a time that's convenient for you to meet. We can present to individuals or to your giving committee. When Community Services Fund is invited into a workplace giving program, it participates alongside of United Way in the existing annual drive.

What can you do?

One of the best ways you can help Community Services Fund is to assist us in starting a Community Services Fund campaign at your workplace. If your employer conducts a campaign but Community Services Fund is not offered as a choice, we would like to be included as an option alongside United Way and any other charities that may be represented. If your employer does not have a workplace giving campaign, we can work with your business to initiate a charitable campaign that would be suitable for your office environment.

Here are some simple steps to follow in exploring this opportunity:

  • Research: Find out what kind of campaign, if any, is offered at your worksite. How many charities are involved? How much does the campaign raise? Is there good employee participation? Who plans the campaign?

  • Contact Community Services Fund: Contact us directly to tell us about your company campaign. Community Services Fund will strategize with you about next steps and send you a packet that provides more information.

  • Make a pitch: Identify the key decision-makers in your company who can help set up a campaign. Community Services Fund will arrange a meeting with the appropriate representatives at your worksite.

  • Follow-up: After discussions have taken place, follow up with key personnel to remind them about Community Services Fund and determine whether any decisions have been made.

Employee support is critical for Community Services Fund to gain access to businesses. The more that you and your co-workers can do to assist us, the better our chances for success.

"Utilizing payroll deductions to Community Services Fund agencies is a convenient, painless way to make charitable gifts. The unique benefit provided by the CSF workplace campaign is that you know with certainty 100% of your personal designations go to the donor's chosen agencies -- and only to those personal choices."
